Fresh Tips: Keep Your Gear Game-Ready – Air It Out & Wipe It Down

If you want to perform your best on the field, it starts with how you take care of your gear off the field. At Fresh Inning, we’re all about helping players stay fresh, confident, and ready to go—and that includes your equipment.

Here’s a simple but powerful routine every player should follow after games and practices:

1. Air Out Your Gear – Don’t Trap the Funk

After a long session, your bag is full of sweat, dirt, and moisture. Zipping everything up right away creates the perfect environment for odor, bacteria, and even mold.

Fresh Tip:• Take your cleats, batting gloves, and helmet out of your bag• Let them air dry in a cool, ventilated space (not a sealed bag or hot car)• Open all compartments in your bag to allow airflow

Just 20–30 minutes of airing out can make a huge difference.

2. Show Your Cleats Some Love

Your cleats go through it—dirt, grass, sweat, and wear every single day.

Fresh Tip:• Lightly wipe down your cleats with a damp cloth after use• Remove excess dirt and grass buildup• Let them dry fully before putting them back in your bag

This helps extend the life of your cleats and keeps them game-ready.

3. Stay Fresh, Stay Ready

Taking a few extra minutes after each session keeps your gear cleaner, lasts longer, and most importantly—keeps you feeling confident every time you step on the field.

At Fresh Inning, we believe the small habits make a big difference. Treat your gear like a pro, and you’ll play like one too.

Final Thought

Don’t just pack it—prep it.Air it out. Wipe it down. Stay fresh.

See you at the next inning.
